The Trivial Pursuit of Happiness

just to give you a taste of reggae on the river, here are some pics from the website, which i really thought summed up my experience. i put a cut, since they are big pics, but do check them out if you have a minute, some of them are pretty crazy.
just to give you a taste:

i didn’t eat sleep or bathe. it was great.

so it’s official – i will be in oklahoma city on august 20th, and will be in OK and the surrounding area till sept. 10th. whoa. poor dane though, i finally get back from camp, and then i leave him again. i am a bad girlfriend.

in other news, i am less hippie than gypsy. there is something in my families blood that keeps us on the move, i swear. i’m just one of those blond haired blue eyes gypsys. very rare. i need to learn to read palms. and then i could just travel in my wagon and be free. and teach kids to talk in my spare time, because i can’t let my college education go to waste.

gabrielle is tugging on me to go “chalk with her”. she’s 3, and way smarter than she should be. she’s constantly talking, and while it’s nice since for a month i hardly understood any of the kids at camp, sometimes it just too much . whew. if she wasn’t so cute……

i’m alive!!!!!!

amazing really, considering how crazy things have been. just got back from cali, whre i did not sleep or shower for way to long. i am officially a dirty hippie. but really, i had so much fun. if you ever have a chance, DO go to reggae on the river. it has to be one of the craziest places i have ever been. also, if you ever have a friend who has booths at festivals, DO go. expecially if he is a guy named jackie and gives you all the margartitas you can drink while you are working, and pays you and your boyfriend for basicly just sitting on your buts and eating his food. go. do it.

so now dane and i are just hanging out at his grandmas for a couple days, and then we are on our way up to arlington washington to work a booth in a commune of all places, and then back down to eugene for who know s what after that. i am heading down to oklahoma around the 20th,hopefully, and taking care of things there. and eventually i am coming back to washington, and then at the end of september i will be back in spokane. it’s nice to be free, but it’s also nice to have a limit, and the promise of something more stable.

but then again being a dirty hippie was pretty fun too.
